I have received my next bivalent shot in the shoulder and expect to spend the rest of the afternoon lying excitingly on a couch until the post time of the Preakness. It is amazing, by which I do not at all mean good, how this week disappeared.

Thank you. It actually did: I signed in, walked in, handed my vaccine card to the pharmacist, waited less than five minutes, walked out. (It may have helped that it was a pretty deserted CVS.)

(I have now scheduled mine for Friday, and have taken the opportunity to get the first of the Shingles vaccine, too. None of the Walgreens near me are doing the COVID-19 vaccine, though. Weird.)
