It's only a change of time
1. I wouldn't say I feel good, but I seem to be recovering from last week's flu. I got to Manchester and back without collapse, although also without as much interaction with
schreibergasse and Grace as I would have liked. It was not the best lecture on Sappho and Greek lyric I will ever give in my life. I suspect it went better than I am inclined to give it credit for. I can't actually finish this note right now.
2. Oh, crap, Kenneth Mars. R.I.P., Franz Liebkind, Hugh Simon, and other dubiously-accented zanies of my childhood. Also King Triton, which confuses me to this day. You will be remembered fondly.
3. My poem "By the Dog" has been nominated for the 2011 Rhysling Award.
The remainder of this post canceled on account of actually feeling terrible. God damn it. I had better be recovering. I'm not sure I can deal right now if not.

RIP. He was grand. I'm quietly amazed by the Little Mermaid role--I never realised that. I was made to watch the film at some point in high school, I think by my girlfriend. I wish I'd known then.
3.
Congratulations!
